                               RESOLUTION NO. 18963
        
        
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADOPTION OF THE NORTH
                   SUBURBAN AREA STUDY ATTACHED HERETO AND
                   INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE.
                  
                          ______________________________
        
              	   WHEREAS, the North Suburban Area Plan was developed to 

         serve as a general policy in guiding the orderly and balanced
         growth of the sections of Hamilton County, Chattanooga, and Red 

         Bank known as the North Suburban Area; and
              	   WHEREAS, said plan provides a development framework
         for land use, transportation, environment protection, sewers 
and
         community facilities; and
              	   WHEREAS, the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional
         Planning Commission has reviewed and recommended said plan.
                                 NOW, THEREFORE,
              	   BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby adopted the 

         North Suburban Area Study attached hereto and incorporated
         herein by reference.
